  • poems - teacher produced
My teaching philosophy follows the threads of a Progressive strand. This changes my role as an instructor from lecturer to guide. As a guide, I must model for my students that I am capable as well as willing to do the things I ask of them to complete. Thus, every time my students are given a writing assignment, I arm myself with pen and a pad and write. This section contains the poems which I have written in and out of the classroom.
  • lesson plans
The second prong of my philosophy is to design and implement research-based lesson plans. Here you will find my plans in the KTIP format.
  • reflections
The third part of my philosophy to rejuvenate teaching is to reflect on the lesson. This section contains my semester reflections as well a sample KTIP lesson plan reflection.
